Behind every dead man... is a woman...

A black comedy detective thriller, To Kill A Dead Man was originally produced by Inis Theatre at the Project Arts Centre, Dublin in 2003. Currently undergoing a radical reworking, To Kill A Dead Man will be reborn at The Half Moon Theatre, Cork in Spring, 2006.

Grady, a classic Noir detective, is drawn into investigating the disappearance of the brilliant scientist Dr. Victor Frankenstein, by a beautiful but mysterious woman. A gothic feast of femme fatales, transvestite dockers and a hideous cloned monster...see Golden and Stephens play them all in their most terrifying performances to date!

"Inis Theatre's over-the-top spoof has all the right ingredients:
the writing is as sharp as a bloody ice pick; the timing as tight as the
cuffs on a hitman... Golden and Stephens keep the comic
momentum going non-stop". The Sunday Tribune

"True to form, the crew at Inis demand that we exercise our intellect as well
as enjoy what is becoming their highly evolved style". In Dublin

"Inis Theatre have upped the stakes in their third production....the young
company have all their inventiveness and creativity on display, and continue
going from strength to strength as they hone their signature style
of intelligent text married with physical precision". Susan Conley, WOW!
